1940s Vintage Floral Seersucker Smock Top | S-M
Era: 1940s
Approx. size: small/medium-medium
shoulders: recommend 15” or under
armholes: 18”
bust: 39”
waist: free
length: 30-34”
Bold primary color floral print. smock-style tent cut is fitted at the collared neck and dramatically flared to high-low hem. bias cut back panel adds great drape and volume. Two diagonally-oriented hip pockets. 3 large red buttons keep neck to bust closed, free/open waist and hip. (note: appears very lopsided in photos due to slight tilt of mannequin and old studio floors, but it is not as dramatic IRL)
material: cotton seersucker
closure: button
label: Armon, Art Styled, Fast Cotton
condition: very good. sturdy, vibrant, freshly washed. Overall worn-in feel, with some unobstrusive light yellowing around shoulders and neckline. I noted a small patched tear at the back neckline and smaller hole in top layer of back collar. see images.
