Vintage Art Deco Hexagonal Silver Locket

vintage c. 1910s-20s

cartouche-shaped locket in sterling silver featuring central engine-turned Art Deco linear details framed by a hand-engraved scrolling foliate border . A small space is reserved for adding initials if desired. Kiss clasp at the bottom opens to two inner compartments with original removeable frame elements for photos, hair, tiny mantras, etc. Paired with a modern 16"sterling silver cable chain. 

locket is hallmarked for Carter, Qvarnstrom & Remington, of Attleboro MA

locket measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/8"

very good condition. firm clasp. interior has significant darkening/patina to finish.
