Antique Art Deco Hammered Silver Locket

antique c. 1910s-20s

a pretty cartouche-shaped locket of hand-hammered sterling silver surrounded by a wreath of forget-me-not flowers. A small engraving of the initials "E.Mc.F." sit within an off-center rectangle on the front. Kiss clasp at the top opens to an inner compartment. Original frame elements are missing, however you could still store a small mantra, spell, fortune cookie wisdom etc. Paired with a 16" vintage 835 silver rolo link chain. 

locket tests as sterling silver (would have been marked on the frames which are no longer present) and chain is marked "835" "B+S"

locket measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/8"

very good condition. firm clasp. interior missing frame elements, as described/shown. light general surface wear commensurate with age.
