lush cotton flannel with a delicate red and pink calico floral print. pleats and drawstring waist create a full back and slight high-low effect. fancy hand-finished scalloped hem. initialed on the interior waist band "LV". 

NB: This piece is beautifully crafted with quality fabric, great attention to detail and hand-finishing throughout. It is also in amazing condition, better than I would expect for a Victorian-era garment, even one that had been stored away and unworn for 120 years. So, its either an expertly-executed vintage reproduction or true Victorian era in impeccable condition. A wonderful piece either way.
