Antique Russian Silver Buckle Bangle Bracelet

c. 1880s

excellent example of the popular Victorian buckle motif, rendered in Russian silver with hand-etched floral motif. hinged with box clasp and safety chain. 

hallmarked: 84 City mark (Russian silver hallmark for 875/1000 purity) and "WO" (maker's mark)

interior circumference is approx. 6 1/4". bracelet is 3/8" wide, with buckle detail slightly wider.

22.37 g. 

very good condition. we've left some patina on the surface, but could be further shined if desired.
