antique. c 1860s
Chalcedony keystone tablet carved with Masonic acronym "HTWSSTKS" in the round, standing for "Hiram, Tyrian, Widow's Son, Sent to King Solomon" I've also seen it written "Hiram The Widow's Son" and "Hiram of Tyre, Widow's Son". After a Biblical verse with significance in Masonic lore. The reverse is unmarked. Suspended in a goldfill frame with decorative openwork top mount. Offered on a modern 18" goldfill rolo chain with spring ring clasp.
