truly romantic in a fine + soft semi sheer white cotton batiste with pintucked netting across the shoulders and upper bodice. wide floral embroidered net ruffle draped across the shoulders and at the sleeve cuffs. large 3/4 length puff sleeves, cropped blouson cut. tiny mother of pearl buttons down the back.

condition: excellent for age. freshly laundered, sturdy and ready to wear. I noted a couple small pinholes in one shoulder that are covered by lace, and a few scattered tiny points of wear in the back that aren't quite holes. I noted 2 small and neat mends done by machine (small darts secured with a single line of stitching), one on the back/underarm covered by lace, the other in the back near the side seam. one button is replaced with an era-appropriate near match (see image) which is covered by lace when worn. I have added two small sets of hooks and eyes to the back neck so the netting sits properly when worn.
