Pair of Victorian Brooches: Amethyst and Sunburst

era: late 1800s

a pretty pairing: foil-backed amethyst glass gem in a gold-fill setting, and machine-turned gold-fill "sun", both with tube hinge and "c" clasp backs.

amethyst: 7/8" x 3/4" 
sun: 1" dia.

very good/excellent condition. some patina, small nicks to gem edges.
