1950s/1960s Silk Dress by Adele Simpson | S/M

vintage c. 1960

luxe dove grey silk jacquard berry pattern. fitted sheath with low-slung "belt" detail that encircles the hips. fully lined in gauze (silk or rayon), metal zipper down the back. corsage not included.

good condition. overall very good, freshly laundered and wearable with some scattered minor flaws. of note: one tiny ink dot on collar did not lift with laundering (see pic), underarms have some light discoloration and associated little holes or near-holes (area seems stable and these flaws not visible when worn) some faint yellowing and some little marks in back belt area. the quality of construction and materials is designer-level excellent, and its priced with flaws in mind. presents great and I could see it being ideal for a courthouse wedding/ wedding brunch. or welcome dinner.
