label: Halbbeu/KalAleau (?) Inc. 118th East 60th St. New York, also with a name label that lost its ink during cleaning. various searches have come up empty on this label, maybe you can crack the code! The address is located in an upscale Manhattan neighborhood near Bloomingdales, Saks, Madison Ave. but is currently home to an apartment building built in the 60s. this is a thoughtfully made bespoke piece, at any rate.
condition: good/very good. freshly laundered and ready to wear. a stunning piece with some cosmetic flaws on inspection. some scattered tiny pulls and wear points, one small patched hole on back left sleeve. a mystery pink dye transfer mark at right underarm, some faint whitish markings on the lower back area, remind me of perspiration marks, but garment has been soaked. three small dots of rust on left sleeve. area at hem with faint stain and associated little holes. see image. stain lifted considerably during cleaning, and I find it forgivable now. holes don't stand out due to location and drape of skirt but there is a lot of extra inseam fabric you could snip to patch these up if desired.
