Large Antique Victorian Sterling Silver and Cameo Ring | 5.5

c. 1880s-90s

lovely carved shell cameo with the bust of a classical female figure with flowers in her hair, in cream on a peach ground, bezel-set in a sterling silver frame that follows the natural contours of the cameo, and is finished with a scrolling etched border. open shoulders gather together to form the band. 

hallmarked "STERLING" on the band

US size: 5.5
cameo measures 1 1/8" lg., 7/8" wd.
