enchanting antique piece in soft rustic cotton gauze with light purple and peppered black woven stripes. Irish lace insets at shoulders and sleeve cuffs. fabric rosettes/ medallions on the sleeves and the attached sash. charming ruffled details throughout the bodice which is heavily gathered in the back. hand-finished details throughout.

closure: pulls over and fastens with hidden snaps up the bodice front. decorative purple glass buttons

condition: excellent. no major flaws to note. bodice snaps may be newer replacements. wooden forms inside medallions have leached a little beige-y color.
