Antique Workwear Apron

Early 1900s

Sewn up in perfectly worn-in “x and dot” printed cotton. Blouson bodice wraps behind the shoulders and fastens at the neck with two mother of pearl buttons. Gathered skirt with ruffle hem ties at the back waist. Lace detail on collar. Not baking a pie? These make wonderful + interesting layering pieces or funky backless pinafores.

Bust: up to 36” for best coverage
waist: ties are relatively short, up to 30” to be able to make a bow
“skirt” length: 27”

Condition: very good vintage workwear. sturdy and freshly washed. area of scattered holes in the far right end of the ruffle at the hem has been stabilized with fine fusible. See image. (please note: images added for condition purposes aren't always color-correct!).
