A fantastic example of mourning jewelry from the Victorian era, crafted from jet- a lightweight, matte black material carved from fossilized wood mined in the town of Whitby- featuring 4 distinct connected components that together create a fluid, balanced design that feels quite modern! Original hooks and metal components are brass. We could swap out sterling silver or gold-filled hooks if desired, message us to discuss these options.
