Antique Victorian Chantilly Lace Shawl

late 1800s

black silk lacework of scrolling flowers on net, scalloped edges. in a diamond shape that tapers from the center to the ends. 

39" wide in the center, 78" long

very good/excellent condition. silk is soft, no brittleness. only a few small scattered breaks to netting noted. see photo of most notable example.
