Liquid soft ecru silk satin with hand made lace bodice overlay. the lace sweeping down across the hips in a flattering scooped design. Intricate series of hooks and eyes in the back close the bodice and center the train panel. Interior boning provides hidden structure. Squared panel train, weighted front hem. (please note, dress was small on the size 6 form and areas of the back were pinned in place where hooks and eyes did not meet)
material: silk and cotton
closure: hooks and eyes (many)
label: none found
condition: fair. wearable. I have made the tough choice to sell this beauty as-is. I haven’t cleaned, and there is notable yellowing/antiquing to the lace especially. The lace can be handled and worn with appropriate care but has some scattered breaks (see images for example) and some of these breaks are at the back bodice closure area. The satin has minor scattered scuffing and light surface wear, faint marks including some water marks and there is some dirt at hem. The bodice interior and connected skirt/slip was constructed partially with a fine silk that is shattering, see images. This dress can be worn as is (as seen on the model) but might benefit from a little TLC from a skilled hand and should be expected to be worn with care, for a photoshoot and/or ceremony, but probably not a reception.
PLEASE NOTE: this item is being sold AS IS and is not eligible for returns. please message me with requests for further images or condition details if needed.
