Antique Lucky Horseshoe Locket on Fob Chain with Pearl Slider

era: c. 1900

rosey gold fill or rolled gold finished locket set with rhinestone paste horseshoe and etched floral motif.  interior compartments for adding your own photos, haikus, affirmations, or locks of hair. all original removable frame parts are present. paired with a pretty double curb link chain with albert swivel clasp and seed pearl-set slider.

locket unmarked (surprisingly!), chain marked on clasp for H.D. Merritt & Co. 

locket 1" dia. chain is 48" total, can be worn doubled over as shown.

very good/excellent condition. light wear/patina as would be expected. swivel clasp works well, locket clasp is firm.
