Antique Gold and Rhinestone Locket | AMM | wounded bird

c. 1900

larger sized round photo locket in gold finish with Art Nouveau scrolling floral engravings accented by white and red rhinestones. The reverse with decorative monogram AMM, the interior with one remaining removeable bezel "frame". 

hallmarked for RBM "Beatrice" line.

just a hair over 1" diameter.

condition; fair/good as seen. charming, sturdy, and has a nice firm clasp. notable wear to gold finish, all three diamond rhinestones are possibly replacements (one definitely is), missing some of the original interior components. bail is modern.
