Antique Fob Chain Necklace with Fob Pendant | initials ALB

c. 1910s

paired gold-fill chains, one with Art Deco bar links, the other figaro-style, each capped with an Albert swivel clasp, and finished with a Deco fob, the base engraved with cursive initials "ALB". chains linked with spring ring. 

Fobs of this style were originally intended to be used as stamps for wax seals in daily correspondence. They make elegant pendants in a modern jewelry collection!

both clasps are hallmarked. one "WC CO" the other "SP"

chain length: 11", fob and clasp length: 1 1/4"

very good condition. some bar links on Deco chain are bent a bit, as can be seen in photos.
