Antique Edwardian White Work and Lace Skirt | XS/S

antique c. 1910s, modern elastic waist added at Fieldwork Vintage

a lovely example of Edwardian design, with highly dimensional embroidered white work and lace ribbon inserts arranged asymmetrically across the skirt. The back with a central embroidered panel. Decorative button placket at the front left hip (buttons do not open/close). Elastic waist enforced with a slightly heavier vintage cotton seersucker weave.  We recommend pulling down over head (vs pulling up over hips) to put on.

very good/excellent condition. no major flaws to note- a few minor and subtle scattered holes. This piece was altered from a dress that had a damaged bodice.
