utterly elegant long line jacket in a fine and lightweight natural silk/wool blend. Dramatic moss green collar with flaxen silk soutache and matching cuffs. Tailored cut flares to hem with soutache accents along front and back princess seams. shaped sleeves with gathered shoulders.

closure: three large fabric covered buttons and loops down the front.

label: none

condition: very good. freshly cleaned and presents beautifully, structurally sturdy and remarkably “wearable” for age! minor cosmetic issues include some very faint sweat lines at underarms and center back. I repeat these are vvvvveeeerrryy faint and easily overlooked. Wide-arching line from a water mark on lower “skirt”, also very faint, and gets lost in drape. There are several areas along this water line where the warp  (the silk I think) deteriorated leaving an almost-hole. Two spots have been lightly mended with silk patches and one has been visibly (but neatly) mended with silk thread right along the hem. See images. Two pinholes noted on back of left arm. One faint rusty spot on collar. the list looks long, but I repeat (again) that the jacket overall is in amazing condition and presents as well in person as it does in theses photos! Maybe better!
