boned cotton corset with lace up back and metal front hooks. Adjustable length metal and rubber garter clips. Straps are not attached at the front.  boning has some flexibility.

label: Ferris Good Sense Reg. US Pat. 812, garter clips embossed FERRIS and PAT 3.29.1910 and “rubber button”

condition: fair/good as seen. sturdy, wearable, and freshly washed. wear commensurate with an antique every day undergarment/shapewear item. Some fray to cotton at pressure/friction points like corners and edges. One old patched repair to top of boning. Elastic garter clip straps are no longer springy, and have rust on them from the clips. I have treated these areas (and improved them) with rust remover, but if they remain damp they start to re-rust quickly. Please message me if you’d like further images or details on condition.
