light cotton with hand crocheted neckline (with the sweetest shoulder petals!) and trim around the legs/hem. relaxed fit buttons between the legs. not sure if there is a better front or back, but I like the pleat in front! could go either way.

condition: very good. sturdy, freshly laundered and ready to wear. small hole near button placket has been reinforced/mended. another small hole as been left as is. see images. pinhole on bodice front, a few faint scattered marks on back. a little bit of yellowing on crochet neckline edge did not lift with laundering.  overall minor issues for age.
