Antique 1919 Art Deco Locket | Initials RAN

antique, c. 1910s-20s

Octagonal sterling silver locket with crisp Art Deco styling. Engine-turned linear accents across the front with central date 1919, and the reverse with initials "RAN" etched to mimic the shape of the locket. triangular-shaped top clasp opens to two interior compartments with their original removeable silver frame bezels (plastic covers are missing, but a photo could still be inserted behind the bezels if desired). Paired with a 16" modern sterling silver flat cable chain. 

hallmarked on the interior frames "STERLING" and with hallmark of Webster Co., which operated in Massachusetts from c. 1900-1940s.
chain marked "925", "FBM" on the clasp.

locket measures 1 1/4" dia.

very good/ excellent condition. firm clasp. missing plastic frame components, as described/shown. general surface wear commensurate with age.
