Antique 1920s Silk Gown | XS-S

antique, early 1920s

lush champagne silk satin. slightly dropped-waist bodice with surplice-style neckline and gathered, wrap-style skirt with wide ruffle detail. rosette and ribbon floral appliques with wax flower centers scattered down the bodice and skirt. snaps closed at the left side seam.

approx. size: xsmall-small. shown on a size 6 dress form.

total length: 44"

very good/excellent condition. really, quite excellent and very wearable. likely homemade. some minor losses to the wax flower centers. some faint rust-type discoloring around the shoulder/upper strap areas, likely from a corsage pin, but very hard to detect.
