Antique 1920s/30s Tissue Silk Floral Gown | S/M

antique late 1920s-early 1930s

light as air tissue silk in a vibrant yellow and green floral print. the attached capelet with rosette trim an draping back ties. the bias cut skirt with chevron seams at the hip. original silk embroidery thread belt loops at the natural waist. no closures, pulls over head. sheer, unlined.

approx. modern size small-small/medium. shown on a size 8 dress form. important to leave room for ease with this fine woven fabric.

excellent condition. original slip/lining is gone, but otherwise no flaws to note. this piece is being offered estate fresh and has not been laundered by fieldwork.
