1980s Victoria's Secret Cashmere, Silk and Fox Fur Robe/Coat | OS

ultra luxe 1940s-inspired dressing robe (could also be worn as a coat) in black cashmere, fully lined in black silk satin, and trimmed with dyed-black fox fur. bell sleeves, and padded shoulders with bead, sequin and netting "epaulettes". open front wraps and secures with silk satin belt. 

label/materials: Victoria's Secret, made in USA, 100% cashmere, 100% silk

provenance: the original owner purchased this piece through a relative who was a VS sales rep in the 80s, according to them this was part of a special limited "couture" collection and originally retailed in the quadruple digits. I haven't been able to find any comps or history to corroborate. but its certainly a lot of cashmere and silk!

condition: excellent. clean and ready to luxuriate.
