1980s vintage

approx. medium-large (crepe fabric has fair amount of stretch and give, measurements taken lying flat and slack)

shoulders: 16”
bust: up to 38” with wiggle room
waist: 30”
hips: 40” with wiggle room
total length: 47”

silk crepe entirely covered in opalescent sequins and silver bugle beads in the pattern of falling leaves, with articulated, individual leaves draped at the sleeve hems and curved skirt hem. Body of dress (not sleeves) lined in white rayon crepe.photos don't fully capture the lovely sparkle and color variation of the beading!

closure: pulls over head. shown with ribbon "belt" in some images. ribbon included only if expressly requested.

label: designer label partially cut out (reads “ 100% silk, New York, Paris, Rome”) made in India.

condition: very good vintage condition. sturdy and freshly washed. as would be expected this style, of this age, there is some minor scattered sequin and bead loss noted where the embroidery stitching has popped. I have stabililized those areas where found. Most notable is a few areas near the neckline, but even there it is so minor and the beading on the dress is so dense that it really doesn’t register. please note, a minor amount of bead shedding is normal and to be expected with this garment style.
