1970s Victorian-style Reproduction Nightgown Dress | M
era: I believe well done in a Victorian-era style with antique/vintage cotton ticking likely in the 1970s.
approx. size: medium
shoulders: 16"
bust: 39"
waist: free
hip: free
length: 52"
pink and white gingham cotton with pink trim. yoked bodice with very voluminous sleeves trimmed in lace, the sweeping skirt heavily pleated all-around at the bodice seam. interesting construction with the use of several different fabrics to finish the hem, and line the bodice. in some areas there is a "pieced together" appearance that feels very authentic.
material: cotton
closure: snaps up the right bodice front (see image)
label: none
condition: very good. sturdy and freshly laundered. on close inspection I noted some scattered faint rusty type marks that didn't fully lift with soaking, these are subtle and not distracting. I noted them mainly at the bodice back and scattered in the skirt. see image for reference. a few small holes near hem.
