1960s Empire Waist Gown with Paillette Bodice | XXS/XS

vintage 1960s

"elegant mod" design with panels of floating bias cut chiffon topped with rectangular white paillettes on checkered mesh. metal zipper up the back, fully lined in off-white crepe. 

brand/material unlabeled, feels like quality rayon or silk. ILGWU tag at base of zipper.

size: xxsmall/xsmall  or petite XS

underbust/empire waist: 26"
hips: 34/35"
length of bodice (from top of shoulder to underbust): 13"
total length: 50"

very good condition. freshly laundered. some minor discoloration around neckline. tear in skirt near hem invisibly patched and disappears into the drape. a couple other tiny holes in chiffon noted, none detracting/distracting.
