1950s Multi-Color Plaid Cotton Dress | L

classic fit-and-flare silhouette in soft cotton with a multi-colored woven plaid on a black ground. skirt is comprised of 4 bias-draped panels that make a super full, larger-than-a-circle skirt. with button accents at the shoulders. fully line in Kelly green cotton. metal side zipper.

very good condition. sturdy, fresh, and presents beautifully. a few flaws to note: two small mended spots along the waistline (would not be visible if worn with belt). two small holes in lower back skirt that are mostly lost in the drape. hem appears a little unfinished, but can definitely be worn as-is. some stress wear to the lining on the shoulders, likely from being stored on a hanger. this dress is heavy! it should be stored folded over on a hanger bar, or folded flat. still a very wearable fun piece for the holidays in a versatile size, priced accordingly as a "seasonal wounded bird" :).
