gorgeous paisley rose print on seersucker, with amazing puff sleeves, sweetheart neckline, full length bias cut skirt and two sweet bucket pockets.
closure: metal Queen zipper to low hip, cinch with fabric waist ties.
label: none present
condition: good vintage condition. sturdy, presents well, freshly washed. some wear and old mends throughout. I noted some reinforcement stitching at one pocket corner (to re-secure pocket to skirt), the front skirt hem was taken in approx. 2” at the center seam to hide a tear, the sleeve cuffs have been overlocked (maybe after elastic was removed?), and there is a 1” mend at the right back shoulder (this could likely be taken out and redone less obtrusively but I am leaving as-is). There is also wear/faint yellowing to the back bodice and sleeves, including some scattered little holes (I have patched several of the larger, those remaining are pinhead sized or smaller) and there is wear to the interface of the neckline, which I have stabilized with fusing. some faint scattered marks did not lift with cleaning, but these are all but lost in the print and texture of the fabric. See final images for examples of wear described. A well-loved piece still in very wearable condition. priced with condition and collect-ability in mind. (care note: store folded to help preserve the structural integrity of the bodice!)
