cold rayon with greyscale rose print on a navy blue ground. accented across the front with metal backed rhinestones and studded sequins that festoon the rose stem on the bodice, then scatter to other areas of the print. wrap-style high-low peplum.
closure: 2 covered buttons and loops in the back. metal Talon sideseam zipper.
label: none
condition: good. structurally sound and presents beautifully. Notable area of fade along top right shoulder. One stud/sequin missing from leaf near neckline and small hole. If you have the right replacement piece (even just a closely matching sequin) this could be masked/patched. Not super distracting as-is. Another pinhole noted near fade mark on shoulder. Shoulder pads were removed by a previous owner. Due to the older sequins, which I have not tested since none are “spare-able” in my opinion, I haven’t wet or dry cleaned this piece. There's no odor and no major staining, but in direct strong daylight you can see some color variation/faint markings that might otherwise clear up with cleaning (see final images, which I've over-exposed to show example). I also note a little yellowing to neckline. I think it can be worn as is, so I’m passing the choice to wash or not to wash to the new wearer.
