1940s Floral Satin Duster / Dressing Gown

Designed in peachy pink satin with romantic rose bouquet print. Shirred bodice, dramatic bishop sleeves with small shoulder pads and bias cut skirt. Fastens with double button and elastic loops.

Condition: very good. Sturdy, presents beautifully, freshly laundered. A few scattered beige spots in the lower back skirt appeared when ironing, they are pretty lost in the print / sheen / drape. See image. a water mark that is visible from certain angles at the left lapel did not lift with further washing / soaking. Little ink dot in same area. Original elastic loops at waist have slackened but still functional. (please note: images added for condition purposes aren't always color-correct!).
