1940s "Fig Leaf" Cotton One Piece by Hanes | XXS/XSP

approx. modern size: women's xxsmall-xsmall petite (possibly originally for an adolescent or teen boy). knit has flexibility. photographed on a size 6 form (b 34 1/2", w 25 1/2", h 35 1/2")

bust: 28" flat, with approx. 8" of stretch
waist: 25" flat with stretch
hips: 28" flat with approx. 8" stretch
rise: top of strap to crotch 29" with some stretch

cool and unusual white knit cotton one piece, with cut-in straps, reinforced stitching across the hips, and low cut leg holes. with four snaps the secure the crotch into place. note: lower snaps were not secured when shot on dress form.
