sweet leaf-shaped carved mother-of-pearl base with cursive "mother" made out of continuous piece of brass wire that also goes through to the back and forms the pin and hook. mother of pearl has more color/pearlescence in real life than captured in photos. 

1 3/4" length, 1/2" wide
