1920s/30s Red Floral Dress | wounded bird

era: late 1920s to early 1930s

bust: 33" (but recommend allowing at least 1" ease)
waist: 30"
dropped waist seam: 32"
hips: free
length: 44"

rather stunning tomato red cotton with white floral print and capelet ruffle. hip ruffles and bias cut swing skirt. no closures, must pull over head. semi-sheer.

condition: good condition currently. I have not washed. some scattered pinholes and one larger hole in capelet shoulder area. repairs at underarms. overall my concern is that the fabric has weakened with age- especially across the upper bodice and shoulders/arms-, and may not stand up well to long wears or lots of taking on and off. best for photoshoots, or careful short outings/events.
