stunning in a pale pink Celanese (an acetate-based imitation silk) with vibrant oversized poppy print. classic 30s styling with capelet, dramatically dropped and peaked waist seam and bias cut flutter skirt. snaps at the left side. with matching fabric belt. dress is semi-sheer.

label: "Celanese Brand Fabric. Fast Color, wash as any Fine Fabric, Iron cool"

condition: very good/excellent esp. for age. freshly laundered.  criss-cross detail in the back appears to have been added at a later date using length from the belt. inner silk slip was removed by a previous owner, some small remnants are still attached across the shoulders/upper bodice. not notable when worn.
