1930s Cold Rayon Floral Dress | S/M

vintage 1930s

Cold rayon in a floral print on a midnight blue ground. The dress is heavily gathered across the front and wraps and secures at the waist with wide ties that are sewn into the princess seams. This design creates fabulous drape and movement in the bodice and skirt. Hooks at the back neckline, otherwise no closures.

very good condition. Sturdy, clean + quite wearable. Likely home sewn and some of the inner finishing is not high-touch. A few scattered tiny wear spots in upper the back visible on close inspection and one slightly larger pea-sized spot has been invisibly patched with self fabric and lightweight fusible interface. see image.
