1930s Black Beaver Felt Fedora by Astor

era: c.1930s

gorgeous velvety soft black beaver felt hat with dimpled crown and narrow brim, wide grosgrain band finished with a bow. the interior lined in grey satin with gleaming chestnut leather sweat band. 

by "Astor, Hats of Distinction" retailed at "J.H. Adcock Co., Antwerp, Ohio"

marked a size 7, 22" inner dia., 5" deep crown, 2 1/4"  wide brim.

pristine condition, never worn with no moth damage, fading, or wear. paper size label has detatched, but will be included with hat.
