1950s Taffeta Gown with Convertible Bodice | XS/S

vintage 1950s
black taffeta woven with metallic gold threading. full length, full sweep skirt with "convertible" bodice of one long/wide bias cut panel that can be wrapped and knotted in several ways. skirt has metal back zipper. bodice piece is attached to skirt waist with a 5" line of stitching but could easily be removed for more versatility/wrapping possibilities.

skirt length: 43"
excellent condition. freshly laundered. taffeta has some subtle wrinkle texture from laundering. if you prefer a crisper look, dry cleaning will do the trick!
note: lighter color at lower skirt is sunlight in the studio not fade.
