They have been lightly masked with fabric paint, but are still visible. See images. general faint age-related yellowing blends with pattern, one more notable water mark is mostly masked by a pocket. Fabric behind the outer top points of both pockets has been reinforced with matching fabric backing and a few stitches- these are points of stress and had small tears. A few scattered pinholes noted. One larger hole was visibly mended in the back. Blends fairly well with print, and is located near where the belt lays. Buckle is a very light plastic, has a little \"dent\" in it. The list seems a bit long, but all told no single flaw draws the eye, and with its playful print and flouncy skirt, the dress assimilates them well. A future owner could opt to have the hem cut and totally redone- I have left all fabric intact and simply folded under and restitched. I attempted to patch a few small holes in the skirt using surplus fabric and a lightweight fusible. Sadly the fusible (which I’ve had great success with in the past!) didn’t react well with the silk- there are visible lines I was unable to iron out (see image). I think, when worn these are easy to overlook, but when backlit without a slip, at the right angle, are definitely visible. A little wear to back neckline. Bottom most button tore out and is missing- tear point has been patched with self fabric\/stabilized with fusible. Second-to-bottom button is a replacement and doesn’t perfectly match. Neither are big deals in my book because you will likely want to leave the bottom open anyways for ease of movement, and the button placket is covered on the skirt. top stitching at the bottom points of the hip pleats show some strain. One has been nearly invisibly patched (1\/4” or smaller) with self-fabric. similar tiny patch at left underarm and lower front skirt. I was able to use small bits of fabric from the seam allowance and light fusible for these and they are not easily detected by the average viewer. Belt has been restored with a new (modern make) backing and a replacement era-appropriate buckle. Workable and sturdy now, but has some extra slightly funky stitching and is overall a little worn. I will include the original buckle with the dress (which is functional but badly flawed).
